Annual General Meeting of FPAI Annual General Meeting of FPAI (Family Planning Association of India) was held at Senator Hotel on 21st Dec. eve.   FAMILY PLANNING ASSOCIATION OF INDIA is recognized as India's leading and largest sexual and reproductive health social impact organisation working for almost seven decades with all, including the poor and marginalized communities in the country.  Supratip Mazumdar, Branch Head, FPAI coordinated the AGM proceedings, which was chaired by Ms. Lakshmi Mitra (FPAI Kolkata President). SANGAM – All Faith Climate Change Conference 2019 Seva Kendra Calcutta (SKC ), the Social Services Organisation of the Archdiocese of Calcutta organized an All-Faith Climate Change Conference at its Main Campus in Kolkata on 14th December. 'Colours of Innocence' is a fundraiser Art with a Cause with its underline focus "By Children For Children". 'Mohonpurer Itikatha'  Imperial Entertainment has started the production of a new feature film - 'Mohonpurer Itikatha',  based on a horror story written by the immortal Bengali literary genius Hemendrakumar Roy.      After 'Shubho Mahurat', a few scenes were taken up at a plush apartment, near Uttarpara Town School. The feature film's director is Sudhangshu Dutta and the camera work is by Dipankar Das.     The first day shooting involved veteran actor Dibyendu Pradhan, a popular face in TV & films, and journalist-cum-filmmaker Asish Basak in a special dhoti-clad role.       Amitava Bose, Owner of 'Imperial Entertainment' remarked that this film, based on a classic story, will take back the audience to the golden oldies of yester-years.           

Grand Finale of IBF1 Grand Finale of India's Best Face (IBF1) was held on 27th Nov. at Nazrul Tirtha, Newtown.     Ms. Sana Ahmad emerged as Winner of IBF1 2019 and won Miss Glamours Diva (Himachal Pradesh), Bindiya Bhowmik was 1st Runner Up (Maharashtra) and Amrita Haldar was 2nd Runner Up (Chhattisgarh).    Dr. Sufia Zaman won Mrs. Most Glamorous Personality (Madhya Pradesh), Ajanta Sarkar was Mrs. Beautiful Personality (Rajasthan), Moumita Das won for Miss Beautiful Smile  (Uttar Pradesh). Mrs. Chitra Chakraborty shines in Mrs. India 2020  A national-level beauty pageant named Mrs. India 2020 was recently organised by  VPR Entertainment  at Ahmedabad, Gujrat.       3500 participants had initially registered their names for this event from across the country.
